And I know where to begin, but I don't know this: What kind of email server is yahoo? Pop3, IMap or HTTP? And what does it mean when it asks for the name of the incoming email server? does it mean something like mail.yahoo.com

I get this error when I want to send out mail on outlook express. I need to correct this because I have to return emails and when I try I get this message. The service is currently unavailable. Make sure that you have the "My server requires authentication" box clicked on the Servers tab from Email accounts-Properties. Some servers require this. Yahoo does.

How do you email someone on outlook express without an outlook account?
e-mail is e-mail. Outlook express is just how that person gets your e-mail it can come from hot mail, yahoo mail etc as long as the correct address is used they will get it.
