when there is a contact button on a website linking to an email it comes up with outlook express but i use hotmail is there a way to stop it poping up and making hotmail popup in some way?

Dont know which version of windows your using so will base this on xp, start menu, set program access and defaults, custom, under default email program if yours is listed chose this, if not you will have to access in usual way.
Reply:No, in this case the html code used is a "mailto" which will always open an external mail program. Some mail providers, such as Gmail, have a plug-in you can download to make all mail-to links open in webmail. I'm not sure if hotmail has one or not. However, you can always copy the email address from Outlook and compose in hotmail.
Reply:Not that I know of. I just copy and paste the email address into my email account and do it that way.
