Outlook Express email - why does it no longer recognise me?!?

It keeps asking me to confirm password - then won't accept it! I can't send or receive in it anymore!
Outlook Express email - why does it no longer recognise me?!?
Get rid of OE - there are many better email

accounts to download free.
Reply:Make sure Capitals Lock is not on. If this isn't right, sorry. Hope you get a better answer soon.
Reply:IM HAVING SAME PROBLEM???? BE GLAD WHEN YOU GET A GOOD ANSWER
Reply:Try setting up your account again in outlook express tools accounts mail etc - make sure you remove the account that's in there first. Also which e-mail address is it? If youraccuont has expired you may need to contact your service provider (ie if it's wanadoo you will need to contact them to re-activate it)

There might be no reason ata ll that it's doing it just a fault with outlook express itself. I used to work on the Technical help desk for Freeserve and found most of the time you just needed to delete the account and re-enter it. Try following the instructions in the source below, or if you use a different provider use yahoo search engine to find the correct servers,.
Reply:it could be the fact you haven't used it for a while and you now have to re register
Reply:check your POP %26amp; SMTP server setting and your id password
Reply:What error message do you receive ?

Passwords are case sensitive. Ensure you have not got the caps lock on.

Have you changed the password recently ?
Reply:Is caps lock on?

Verify that the account is valid and active, and that your username and password are correct. Check the POP3 (incoming mail) and SMTP (outgoing mail) settings with your ISP.

(Under Tools-%26gt;Accounts)

For example the POP3 (port 110) mail server for PlusNet is mail.plus.net, and the outgoing mail (port 25) server is relay.plus.net. You do not normally need to have SSL or authentication enabled.
