Problem with outlook express Email?

Keep getting message 'You have unsent message in your outbox. Do you want to send it now?' If I say yes get another message ' message could not be sent because recipient was rejected by server' How do I delete these messages?

Reply:Check very carefully that you have typed in correct e-mail address as it is all too easy to make one tiny mistake in typing which will stop e-mail being sent.
