I just got my conputer rebuilt and have "Outlook express" email. Its receiving email but not sending out???

any help on this?
I just got my conputer rebuilt and have "Outlook express" email. Its receiving email but not sending out???
after saving the incoming and outgoing servers,





If it is gmail : incoming server : pop.gmail.com


outgoing server : smtp.gmail.com


if it is aol : incoming server :imap.aol.com


outgoing server : smtp.aol.com





After giving your email address, servers etc. Click on tools, then go to accounts, Click on your account in the list, then click on properties, click on servers tab, Now check the box "my server requires authentication", It will surely work

Reply:You need to setup 'Outgoing Mail Server' (smtp) in the configuration.





Call you internet provider (ISP) or go to their website to get that address and put it in your configuration ...somewhere in 'Tools'-%26gt; 'Option'-%26gt; 'Account Setting'


(select the mail account that you set up and click edit/properties - I dont have outlook on this computer so guessing)





just copy paste that, you may need your username/password from your ISP...ask them.





BTW...SMTP changes each time you change your internet connection.
Reply:please check your smtp at your email configuration your internet provider can provide you the details or the alternative just in case your current stmp is not working.
