Cant get my outlook express email to work?

states that pop 3 host cannot be found....I am computer so please help

A) Make sure you have the settings typed in properly. One misspelled word can throw everything off.





B) Make sure your settings are correct. Most ISPs provide support on their webpages that simplify setting up Outlook Express as your mail client.





C) The ISP could be having problems with their mail servers right now, which would prevent their subscribers from using mail. Again, some ISPs provide network status pages to inform their users of such outages.
Reply:IF this is a yahoo free mail account then you dont have that option. Yahoo no longer offers this service (POP) to their free mail acct.





If you have a premium service with yahoo then make sure your incoming mail server is correct. These settings can be found in your control panel or options menu. Make sure you have temp disabled all firewall and antivirus software
