evry time i wanrt to send an attachment it goes through outlook express but i want it to go through yahoo

Teach your computer to use Yahoo! Mail.


Using Internet Explorer just click "Continue" on the link below to download a small 60K file that will enable Yahoo! Mail to be the default email program for your computer. Whenever you click on an email address on any web page or in any computer program, Yahoo! Mail will open for you in a new window.





If Internet Explorer displays a yellow security bar at the top, click on it and select Install ActiveX Control from the menu.


If a security warning comes up with Yahoo! Inc. as the publisher, click Install.

Reply:Basically you can't set the default to a web app. Yahoo is a web-based email client and Outlook Express is a local application. Microsoft OS's have to have a local applications to handle the default conditions (such as clicking on a web email link or right-click-%26gt;"send as atttachment"). Sending an attachment from your computer desktop (or local running app) and not from a web browser will not work. If you want to send an attachment you must login to Yahoo. Go to the mail website, create a new mail and add the attachment from the bottom of the creation page. No other method will work.
