Problems sending EMail with Outlook Express?

I can receive emails but not send, although I can send ok to a Hotmail address,it has happened before but my misspent youth prohibits me from being able to remember.
Problems sending EMail with Outlook Express?
If you are speaking only of Outlook Express your problem indicates Outlook Express isn't configured correctly.

Read the following article and follow the instructions for each new account. You'll need the POP3 and SMTP from your ISP.

How to Set Up Outlook Express: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/...

POP3 SMTP Mail Server Listings: http://www.realifewebdesigns.com/web-res...

Searching the Internet, i.e. Google, Yahoo, will give you helpful and valuable information, start your research here: http://www.google.com/search?q=how%20to%...

Make it a great day!
Reply:I think that there is a problem with hotmail on outlook express. It is a pay only hotmail with them i believe ,not free. You can get a pop3 e mail address with them free.Just switch it to OUTLOOK.
Reply:I'm having the same problem (Outlook, not outlook express, although minor, there is a difference.) Check out the following link and select your correct version for the answers.

I was receiving, but not sending. Other accounts are working. Only Yahoo was the only problem. I deleted the account and started over. It works now.

I did try yahoo support, with very looooong pauses between the question and the answer. Ultimately they did not have an answer for me. My BOE Phone company probably wants a fee for an answer! The other answer came with pay per month options....not the best option when there are other options.

Hope this helps
Reply:You need to tell your OE settings what your outgoing server address is. Your ISP has that info.

Hotmail is web mail and works in a different way to your regular mail.
